Sony Ericsson Aspen Reviews | Sony Ericsson Aspen Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Video – Sony Ericsson has unveiled its new smartphone named Aspen! It runs on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and offers a touch screen 2.4″ (240 x 320 pixels), a full keyboard, a 3.2 MPx APN, a aGPS with Google Maps, a 3.5mm jack, WiFi, 3G and a microSD slot.
The manufacturer Sony Ericsson has announced its new Windows Mobile phone, and the bundled version is 6.5.3 which we have spoken several times in our columns. Aimed at the professional market, this new model, named Aspen (like the famous U.S. ski resort), has such a true QWERTY keyboard.
Based on Windows Mobile 6.5.3, the phone gets major improvements, like better support for capacitive screens, a horizontal interface using tabs, touch controls for the whole system and drag and drop icons in the startup screen.
Its price was not disclosed, but as mentioned earlier, it happens during the second quarter in several markets including the United States and Europe. The manufacturer hopes probably compete with BlackBerry with the presence of a real physical keyboard.
