Submitted by Technology News & Review on Sunday, 14 December 2008One Comment

Sharp LC32SB23U 32″ LCD HDTV with Built-in Tuner – The Japanese manufacturer Sharp, renowned in the field of electronics and especially screens, announces the arrival of an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) high definition Television with a diagonal of 32 inches, the LC32SB23U.

The characteristics of the LC32SB23U are:

  • 32″ LCD screen
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9;
  • Wireless remote control;
  • Dynamic Contrast Ratio: 7500: 1;
  • ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuner;
  • Angel of view: 176 degrees;
  • Response time: 6 ms;
  • 2 HDMI and 2 HD component video inputs, plus D-sub, 15 pin input for PC compatibility;
  • A comfortable view from anywhere;
  • Enhanced color filter

Unfortunately, for this LC32SB23U model, we need to have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than that of a standard-definition TV.
