Hyundai i20 reviews
Hyundai motors i20 reviews – Conceived and designed to Rüsselsheim, Germany, the Hyundai Getz replaces the I20. This small versatile is the new spearhead of the offensive of the Korean brand in Europe.
Compared with the Getz it replaces, the I20 is longer by 11.5 cm (3.94 m), wider by 4.5 cm (1.71 m), but did not grow in height (1.49 m). This development benefits primarily to habitability, particularly at the rear, where two large adults can easily take place. The quality of the model was also obtained at the expense of trunk volume, which dropped by 17 l compared to that of the Getz (312 to 295 l). Split 60/40 rear seat is obviously fold, but do not expect to get a flat floor. This configuration gives access to a total of 1,100 l, with the progress of 123 compared to the previous model.
The changing dimensions (wheelbase and track, among others) suggests that I20 is built on a new platform, that project managers are quick to confirm. Organized around Barcelona, the test has given us the opportunity to briefly explore the 90 hp version of the 1.4 CRDi. Frankly noisy cold, this 4-cylinder remains sound even hot. This posed its performance is consistent with what we can expect in this category, while its consumption is quite a bit lower than average (116 g / km CO2). The height and depth of the steering column associated with a height of the seat allows all to find a satisfactory driving position. Overall somewhat dampened, the suspension gives pride filtering in urban traffic at low speed at the expense of behavior and maintaining body at higher speeds on roads distorted and bend, where the roll is important.
Apart from the quality coatings dashboard and door against which does not seem to be at the very best in the segment, the overall I20 leaves a good impression. It may, in particular to assert a rather generous living, a careful, a complete equipment and a sale price attractive.
