Garmin, a leading GPS industry, has announced the new model, Garmin nüvi 270. It was the turn of Garmin unveiled its model of prestige with the Garmin nüvi 270, which offers multiple features in addition to GPS navigation.

Note that the Garmin nüvi 270 loads a feature of voice recognition to simplify navigation and no longer manipulate the device while traveling. It’s a rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes it convenient for navigation by car or foot

Just pronouncing the name of the function displayed on the screen to trigger the NDP. More fun again, the feature can be extended to research that will give nearby restaurants according to their specialty, for example.

Dimensions 9.7 x 7.1 x 2 cm 147.42 g, the NDP has a touch screen 3.5″ resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It Take a USB mass storage device that compatible with Windows® 2000 or later and Mac® OS X 10.4 or later.

The Garmin nüvi 270 also supports City Navigator® NT street maps for both North America and Europe, including a hefty points of interest (POIs) database with hotels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. Simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with 2-D or 3-D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions.

Many of entertainment were also included as a picture viewer, a 3-D map view, a photo viewer, World travel clock, currency & unit converter, and calculator.

This version without the MSN Direct service will be offered in Europe at a price therefore a little over $399.99.
