BlackBerry Curve 8900
It seldom happens that a U.S. manufacturer, a new device initially presented in Europe. But RIM does exactly that with the BlackBerry Curve 8900, a variant of the already known BlackBerry Bold. The latter there are already at T-Mobile, the Curve 8900 should still follow in November. Whether the Curve, however, will be racing paragraph? It makes life easier, at least not exactly, because when you curveballs on UMTS surrender. While the Curve only as a “little brother” of the Bold thought, but there would perhaps on other things should refrain:
The lack of UMTS is a mobile phone that is almost exclusively to business customers, then somehow something stupid. Obviously the Curve otherwise shines with good values. 480 × 360 display, GPS, WLAN, 3.2 MP camera, the fast 512 MHz processor and a microSDHC slot, up to 16 GB tolerate. But only with EDGE support is holding everything a little thin. What is the use of one the great possibilities of the BlackBerry if I can not really use it?
The price is not bad. 360 euros would like T-Mobile for the device without a contract. At Ebay, the price quickly fall below 300 euros. So if you are necessarily a favorable BlackBerry must have to be in the next few weeks after the Curve times around 8900.
